Residential Development on Planinska Road in Sevnica
The residential building in Sevnica is a traditional masonry structure reinforced with a central reinforced concrete (RC) elevator core. The building spans five levels (ground floor + four stories) with overall dimensions of approximately 23.70 x 13.70m. Floor slabs are monolithic, cross-reinforced RC plates, ensuring stability and durability, while vertical load-bearing elements consist of modular brick walls, reinforced with seismic ties and additional RC columns where necessary. Seismic resistance is achieved through a combination of the RC elevator core, horizontal and vertical seismic ties, and detailed masonry design for earthquake-prone regions. The foundation consists of a 50cm-thick RC mat slab, designed to ensure stability against soil pressure and groundwater influences. Construction adheres to rigorous geotechnical oversight, ensuring compliance with all structural and seismic standards.
